With more than 10 years of professional writing experience, Rebecca is capable of creating copy from scratch as well as invigorating tired copy with a fresh voice. She tailors her writing to inspire a wide range of readers—from subject matter novices to the experts. Her byline articles can be found in magazines and on the Web, and numerous short stories and fiction manuscripts that she has edited are available from noted publishers.

Rebecca began her writing career as a public relations coordinator for IBM Software. She later transitioned her marketing skills to the noble realm of academia, where she
handled media relations and honed her expertise in website writing and usability at the College of the Holy Cross. After three years as a freelance writer with inkable, she founded SmithWriting in 2007.

Rebecca earned a dual bachelor’s degree in English and French cum laude from the College of the Holy Cross. She is a member of the Society of Professional Communicators. When she’s not in front of the keyboard, Rebecca can usually be found in the kitchen, in the garden, or outdoors with her husband, daughter, and their lovable mutt, Riley.

Since joining the firm in June 2008, Kimberly has crafted creative and compelling copy for an array of fundraising and marketing projects. Her clear, concise writing style and attention to detail are sought after by clients requiring proofreading and copyediting services.

Prior to becoming a full-time copywriter, Kimberly worked in the banking industry for nearly eight years. Most recently, she was an Assistant Branch Manager at a Worcester-based community bank, where she sharpened her communications skills, overseeing daily branch operations and meeting the diverse needs of retail and commercial customers.

Kimberly earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from the College of the Holy Cross. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, traveling, and relaxing in the backyard with her husband, John, daughter, Nora, and black lab, Jack.
